Abstract

The article highlights a report on expansion of published research articles due to which it increased attention to open data, and opportunities for preprint publishing. Topics discussed include metasearch approach by search engines such as ScienceResearch.com and BioCarian, which is a semantic explorer of biological databases developed at United Arab Emirates University; open access revolution which contributes greatly to the increasing volume of published research.
