Abstract

Transfer of the musculo-cutaneous nerve into the median nerve makes it possible in most cases to reproduce simple function in the tetraplegic hand. The results of this procedure in 20 patients with complete traumatic cervical spine injury are discussed. © 1982 International Medical Society of Paraplegia.
