Refletindo sobre as redes sociais digitais

Abstract

This article presents the results of the first stage of research conducted by the research group Science, Technology and Sociability of the Masters in Health Promotion program. First, the area of Health Promotion is situated; then a discussion around the concept of digital and social media is presented and finally some results of the literature review undertaken at this stage is discussed. The bibliographic data found (articles, theses and dissertations) indicate an increase in published papers on the topic as from 2005, as well as a concentration in the areas of Communication and Education.
