Abstract

This paper takes non-English majors of vocational college as research individuals, investigating and analyzing their foreign language anxiety and English learning achievement, then adopting task-based teaching approach and 3P (presentation-practice-production) teaching method in the contrast. Results show that the task-based teaching approach is helpful to reduce students' foreign language learning anxiety, and enhance their English learning achievement. Therefore, it is a valuable teaching method to be popularized in colleges.
