Abstract
Objectives: The aim of the research was to inveselves guilty at some level of intensity by ECC in children. Correlating family income with the financial impact of a dental problem and / or treatment, a prevalence of 96.35% was observed with a 95% confidence interval, demonstrating that the lower the family income, the greater the financial impact. Conclusion: ECC interferes with the child's quality of life, thus negatively affecting his routine, as well as that of his family.
