Abstract

RESUMO Parte integrante de pesquisa aplicada de desenvolvimento de ferramenta de automatização de fact-checking, o presente artigo propõe uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o conceito de verdade e pós-verdade e evidencia, por meio da exposição dos termos adotados pelos serviços brasileiros de combate à desinformação, a necessidade do método na definição de verdade como salvaguarda do jornalismo e na produção de notícias no ambiente digital.Palavras-chave: Pós-verdade; Fact-checking; Pós-modernidade; Jornalismo; Automatização.ABSTRACT As part of an applied research in the development of a fact-checking automation tool, this article proposes a bibliographical review of the concept of truth and post-truth and, through the exposition of the terms adopted by Brazilian fact-checking services, the need of the method in the definition of truth as a safeguard of journalism and in the production of news in the digital environment.Keywords: Post-truth; Fact-checking; Postmodernity; Journalism; Automation.
