Abstract
Adolescence is a critical period of life with high health risks to nutritional problems. Balanced nutrition for the needs of the day can be obtained through breakfast. The purpose of this study analyzed the influence of health education on balanced breakfast on the nutritional status of young women. The experimental study, two group pre-test post-test design, was conducted from February to March 2020. The population is young women (14 years) as many as 60 people. Use purposive sampling. The sample of 52 people was divided into 26 young women in the intervention group and 26 young women in the control group. The research instrument is an observation sheet to measure nutritional status, a short questionnaire containing sociodemographic data parents' last education and parental work, leaflets on the benefits of breakfast and the impact if not breakfast given to support health education as well as power points. The results of wilcoxon match paired test between health education about nutritious breakfast balanced with the nutritional status of young women obtained a value of 0.001, then ha accepted so that there is an influence of health education about nutritious breakfast balanced influential with the nutritional status of young women
