Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of emotion regulation training to reduce stress on the non-congenital difabels. The hypothesis is emotion regulation training reduce stress on the non-congenital difabel. Subjects on this study are three difabels that is one woman and two men. The research design used single case experimental design with A-B-A Follow up design. The research methode used mixed methode so that analyse the data from quantitative and qualitative result data. The result showed decreasing stress category in all subject after emotion regulation training. That result supported by the result of interviews and observations showing the subjects can regulated the emotion better and expressing the emotion correctly. The results obtained showed that emotion regulation training reduced stress on the non-congenital difabel. This means that the hypothesis is accepted.
