Abstract

Property companies have taken a strong leadership role in the area of environmental sustainability, particularly in the retail property sector. This article highlights some of the strategies used by property companies in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Asia and Australia in developing excellence and best practice in sustainability for retail property.
