PENGARUH KETEBALAN LAPISAN SEDIMEN TERHADAP FUNGSI PERMEABILITAS TANAH

Abstract

ABSTRACTChanges in the environment will always affect the layout changes and changing patterns of water flow runoff. Tends to increase runoff, erosion and sedimentation occur with greater capacity. In this study discusses the influence of the thickness of the sediment layer on the soil permeability function. The research uses fine grain soil passes No. 200 sieve. Research Methods Using Falling Head Permeability Test Method. Where is the analysis of the data using linear regression statistical method that describes the relationship between a thick layer of sediment as the independent variable permeability as a fixed variable. Data processing using Excel 2010 program assistance and SPSS 15.0. The results of the correlation analysis obtained a significant relationship between the thick sedimentary soil permeability. Pearson Corelation Figures show a negative value (-), which means the relationship between two variables, in contrast, where the thick sediments that the lower the permeability coefficient value.Keywords: Soil, Sedimentation, PermeabilityABSTRAKPerubahan lingkungan akan selalu berdampak kepada perubahan tata aliran air dan perubahan pola runoff. Aliran permukaan cenderung meningkat, erosi dan sedimentasi terjadi dengan kapasitas yang semakin besar. Pada penelitian ini membahas pengaruh ketebalan lapisan sedimen terhadap fungsi permeabilitas tanah. Penelitian menggunakan tanah butir halus lolos saringan No. 200. Metode Penelitian Menggunakan Uji Permeabilitas Falling Head Methode. Dimana analisa data menggunakan metode statistik regresi linier yang menggambarkan adanya hubungan antara tebal lapisan sedimen sebagai variabel bebas dengan permeabilitas sebagai variabel tetap. Pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan program Excel 2010 dan SPSS 15.0. Hasil analisa korelasi didapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara tebal sedimen dengan Permeabilitas tanah. Angka Pearson Corelation menunjukkan nilai negatif (-), yang berarti hubungan antara dua variabel berkebalikan, dimana semakin tebal sedimen maka koefisien permeabilitas semakin rendah nilainya.Kata kunci : Tanah, Sedimentasi, Permeabilitas.
