Abstract

Pakistamides A and B (1 and 2, respectively), two new sphingolipids, have been isolated from the AcOEt-soluble sub-fraction of the MeOH extract of the whole plant of Abutilon pakistanicum. Their structures were assigned by 1 H and 13C NMR spectra, and by DEPT and COSY, NOESY, HMQC, HMBC, EI-MS, and FAB-MS experiments. © 2012 Verlag der Zeitschrift für Naturforschung.
