Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) in lung cancer treatment

Abstract

ADCs will likely become another important treatment strategy in advanced, pretreated lung cancer where current treatment options are limited. Both onocogene-directed or biomarker relateted (e.g. EGFR, HER2, MET) and ADCs where no biomarker selection is required (e.g. TROP2, HER3) have either already demonstrated efficacy or under further investigation in NSCLC. Improving the outcomes of patients with metastatic lung cancer is important, thus continued research is necessary to improve understanding of the clinical activity, safety, and optimal sequencing of ADCs in lung cancer treatment.
