The Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus (EECMY) Between Indigeneity and Globalism: Re-measuring Growth, Re-visioning Mission, Recasting Leadership

Abstract

The church needs to recognize its place between indigeneity and global forces.  While its circumstances and social location has changed, its core values remain the same. It is a challenge for the current EECMY leadership to ensure the church is equipped with a theology and practice to carry out faithful and missional work locally that is effective in a changed global context.
