Abstract
This article aims to correlate the analysis implemented safety of labor policies from 2006 to 2018 in México and their impact on families, in particular in parenting and its effects on psychological symptoms in childhood. The nature, purpose and models of a public policy is briefly reviewed. A social theory of emotions is proposed to establish the link between the structural dimension and psychological distress. The method is guided by qualitative research through a case study. It concludes with five recommendations that could strengthen the design, establishment and evaluation of public policies. The focus of this critical study is systemic. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
