Abstract

The results of applying the methods which may be used to measure the fault parameters in hexagonal and cubic materials are presented and discussed for a cobalt-nickel alloy. Studies of iron-manganese alloys show that the epsilon phase faults readily; this factor may contribute to the high work- hardening capacity of such alloys.
