Abstract
The objective of this work was to verify the occurrence of parasitoids insects, of the coffee berry borer, Hypothenemus hampei (Ferrari) (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) in plantings of coffee in the South of Espírito Santo State. The found parasitoids were Prorops nasuta (Hym.: Bethilidae) and Cephalonomia stephanoderis (Hym.: Bethilidae), with levels of parasitism of up to 33%. These natural enemies' presence suggests a potential of natural regulation of H. hampei, and perspectives for its use in programs of Integrated Pest Management.
