Abstract

This theoretical review of the role of secretary in improving the efficiency of the work of the leadership. collection sources by library research. The approach used is through a qualitative approach. This means that the resources collected is not in the form of numbers, but it comes from the study of the literature in the form of references from journals, books or other official documents. The results of the theoretical review found that the secretary acts as an assistant leader in order to facilitate basic tasks so that leaders can carry out activities that are their responsibility calmly and can manage the company to be more developed and experience progress so that the secretary's role is very important in advancing a company. Professional secretaries must really be able to work efficiently in their leadership to improve the quality of the company. As a professional secretary, he also needs to have positive mental thoughts and attitudes so that he sincerely provides total service to the boss, organization, or other parties he serves. A professional secretary is required to be able to use his mind to solve the problems he faces.
