The case of an eighty-four-year old man with carcinosarcoma of the urinary bladder is presented. The malignant epithelial component was adenocarcinoma, the stromal component was leiomyosarcoma. Partial cystectomy was carried out. Four months after the operation local recurrence was present. The tumor was resected transurethrally. Two months later the patient was readmitted because of haematuria. He refused any treatment. He was alive with intermittent haematuria 6 months after the last hospitalization.
