When does R Gorenstein imply RG Gorenstein?

Abstract

We study the relation between the injective dimension of a ring as a module over itself and that of the fixed ring under some group of automorphisms of the ring. In special cases we show how to derive an injective resolution of the fixed ring from an injective resolution of the original ring. © 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
