Abstract

This paper, entitled “Managing University Finances for Sustainable Administration and Institution- Building”, seeks to demonstrate the possible application of sound financial management techniques for the attainment of enduring employment relationships and sustainable university governance. It should be recognized that employment relationships in the university system could be very complex, involving often delicate diversities, several competing multilateral interests and decision processes. Consequently, positive university governance should leverage strategic financial management approaches for the effective and efficient utilization of financial resources that are available in meeting the demands of their founding objectives. I
