Abstract

The article offers information on the political advertisement which featured in the political campaign during the federal election of 2008 in Canada. As reported, no political party of Canada ever produced advertising which featured a clipping from one of the all-candidates discussion held during the recently finished leadership campaign of the Liberal Party of Canada to run during the SuperBowl, a football game. It is stated that the advertisement which was referred to as the attack advertisement should precisely be thought of as a frame advertisement. Often cited as the SuperBowl advertisement of the Conservative Party of Canada, the advertisement attacked the record of Stphane Dion on greenhouse gases. To conclude, the campaign marked the victory of old politics over new.
