Abstract

Predictions for electron induced proton knockout from p1/2and p3/2shells in16O are presented using various approximations for the relativistic nucleonic current. Results for differential cross section, transverse-longitudinal response (RTL), and left-right asymmetry RTLare compared at |Q2| = 0.8(GeV/c)2. We show that there are important dynamical and kinematical relativistic effects which can be tested by experiment. © 1999 The American Physical Society.
