Abstract

This paper offers an overview of religious expressions documented in the Roman city of Clunia, capital of the conventos Cluniensis, focusing on the "Cueva de Román" an underground sanctuary linked to the city s water supply where diverse cultic practices were conducted by local magistrates, amongst others.
