Abstract

The importance of e-government, especially the government website in providing information demands the government website can be accessed by all circles, especially persons with disabilities. To measure the accessibility of a government website, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG) guidelines are used. To be accessible, a website must be able to meet the minimum level of WCAG, level A. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the accessibility of e-government for people with disabilities in developing and developed countries using systematic literature review method. According to the results, there are still many countries that have not provide e-government that accessible for people with disabilities yet, both from developed and developing countries. However, developed countries have e-government that is more accessible than e-government in developing countries due to strong government policies on people with disabilities. Other influential factors are government and community awareness on accessibility. From this result, the research recommends research on the importance of e-government accessibility for PwDs to achieve equality of persons with disabilities to receive information accessibility.
