Abstract
Fibertoyarnconversonprocesshasbeen affectedbyseveralfactorsvvhichinludepropertes ofravv material level oftechnolo , machinery and skil ofrnachine operators In cotton hbre spinning,thecostofravvrnaterialplaysanirnportantrole,snceitaccountsforover50%ofthetotal costoftheringspunyarn.Yarnimpe1ecton(neps,thick andthinplaces)ontheotherhandisan inportantyarnpararnetervvhich affectsyarnandfabricprocessng, andQuahtypararneter Inthi study,therelatonshipbetveenfberpropertesandyarnirnperfectonshasbeeninvestgatedusing statstcal and Monte Carlo techniQues. The hnear re esson anaysi developed modes that generatedcoefi:entofregresson(R)vaueof0.68, 0.65 and0.68, respectvelyforneps,thick and thin places, respectvely The sensitiwty anaysñ for statstcalrnodes showedthatyarn twit, micronare vaue,fberrnaturity,trash area,hberlen h,fberstrength andhberyehownessare the influential factors for affectingyarn imperfections. Others factors that included trash grade, fber uniforrmty, spinningconsitencyindex,fberreflectance,yarn hneardensity,trashcontent, fberelongatonandshorthberindexshouldaso are consideredvvhiestudyingyarnirnperfecton ofcotton ringspun yarns.
