Abstract
Because of obvious human requirements, the textile industry has expanded to become the second-largest manufacturing sector, immediately behind the agricultural sector. The textile industry is one of the most important and major sectors for using polymers. Polymers are important chemical components for the production of textiles. Polymers are used at every step of the textile production process, from developing fiber to coloring and finishing textiles. Polyurethanes (PUs) are a multilateral polymer category with various structures, shapes, and behavior under varied conditions that are thought to be beneficial for many useful and intelligent reactions. For a variety of applications, PU has recently increasingly gained scientific attention. The most recent advancements in PU for textile applications are covered in this review article.
