ESTUDIO DE IDENTIFICACIÓN DEL ESTILO DE LIDERAZGO EN UN HOTEL

Abstract

RESUMEN Debido a las escasas investigaciones sobre los estilos de liderazgo predominante en los líderes de los hoteles en Brasil, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo identificar el estilo de liderazgo predominante en el hotel PortaBay Rio Internacional, ubicado en la ciudad de Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, para esto se aplicó el cuestionario multifactorial de liderazgo. El estudio logró identificar que, en el análisis cuantitativo, el liderazgo ejercido por el líder de esta organización es transformacional y el análisis cualitativo a través de la entrevista abierta con el líder y seguidores de la organización, arrojó que en la reagrupación de frases es posible indicar que se visualiza también un liderazgo transformacional, el cual es reforzado con variables como la efectividad y satisfacción evaluada por los clasificadores. ABSTRACT Due to scarce research on the dominant leadership styles of hotel leaders in Brazil, this article aims to identify the predominant leadership style at the PortaBay Rio Internacional hotel, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for this the multifactor leadership questionnaire was applied. The study was able to identify that in the quantitative analysis the leadership exercised by the leader of this organization is transformational and the qualitative analysis through the open interview with the leader and followers of the organization, showed that in the regrouping of phrases it is possible to indicate that a transformational leadership is also visualized, which is reinforced with variables such as the effectiveness and satisfaction evaluated by the classifiers.
