PENGELOLAAN TAMAN WISATA GOA SUNYARAGI: Dampak Sosial dan Ekonomi bagi Masyarakat

Abstract

Cirebon city is one of the existing city in the province of West Java. Cirebon city is also a popular tourist destination with all its potential. Sunyaragi Goa Tourism Park is one of cultural heritage objects. The cultural potential of the Sunyaragi Goa Tourist Park has been increasingly developed. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. By using data collection method that is observation, interview and documentation. The results obtained from this research is that management efforts or strategies undertaken by the governing body in developing and promoting the object of Sunyaragi Cave Park is by Carying Capacity technique (carrying capacity of tourist area) by doing counseling and always involving the surrounding community, besides by doing promotion through print media and social media, as well as through some cultural attractions and events such as gamelan traditional music, mask dance, martial arts and so on. All these businesses are able to increase the income of people who are looking for livelihood or selling in the area of Sunyaragi Goa Tourist Park although not always crowded everyday visitors.
