Abstract
The system of two nonlinear partial differential equations is solved numerically using an unconditionally stable implicit scheme of finite differences. Thus the computational time steps are not limited and the method is well adapted for the simulation of slow phenomena of solid transport in nonstationary flow. The theoretical and numerical aspects of problems such as convergence and stability are emphasized.
