Corrections to Bremsstrahlung and Thomson Scattering at the Solar Center

Abstract

Corrections to inverse bremsstrahlung and Thomson scattering at the solar center from several physical effects are investigated. The major corrections are shown to be present in current stellar opacity calculations while usually neglected effects only introduce small errors. © 1996. The American Astronomical Society.
