Abstract

The limitations of activities among the community in the new normalera have a slightly changed order, so that most of them are done via virtual, as well as in terms of educations. As of the goverment issued policies regarding the pandemic and then the new normal, so that people can the continue to be active and productive but still adhere to health protocols, this is also felt by the public relations in the school. This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of public relations management in improving the image of schools in the new normal, both in planning and implementations by the Mohammad Hatta Islamic Elementary School Malang. The research approach used is a qualitative. This type of research is a case study type, which focuses one the thing in order to obtain information on a particular object. The findings of this study indicate that that (1) public relations management  planning in improving the image of school in the new normla era and discussed: (a) planning for the publications of school activities in the new normal era, (b) planning relations with with the comunity in the new normal era, (c) planning for the publications of school profiles in the new normal era. (2) implementation of public relations management in improving the image of schools in the new normal era: (a) the implementation of publication of school activities in the new normal era, (b) the implementation of relations with the comunity in the new normal era, (c) implementation of school profile publications in the new normal era.
