Abstract

Many practitioners still have difficulty determining whether it is appropriate to begin orthodontic treatment before the eruption of the full permanent dentition. The authors of this book show that it is possible to establish the most favorable moment to initiate treatment if one has a thorough understanding of the morphogenesis and pathogenesis of craniofacial anatomy and development as well as some training in child psychology.
