Abstract

Cubic Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZO) is regarded as an ideal solid-state electrolyte because of its superior performances. However, the inadequate contact between LLZO and lithium anode results in high interfacial impedance, which hinders the commercial application of LLZO. In this work, a thin layer of Cu has been deposited on LLZO by magnetron sputtering to improve the interfacial contact. After modification, the interfacial impedance between LLZO and lithium reduces from 677 Ω·cm2 to 29 Ω·cm2
