Abstract
Nine young and 12 elderly healthy volunteers received nisoldipine 10 mg once a day for 7 days. Plasma nisoldipine concentrations were measured on Day 1 and on Day 7. Higher plasma drug concentrations were observed in the elderly group than in the young group with the values for AUC being approximately doubled in the elderly group. There was no evidence of significant accumulation in either age group. 1991 The British Pharmacological Society
