Abstract
In this article we analyze the current state of the problem under study in domestic and foreign science and practice, clarify the signs of the content of the basic concepts of "research activity", "research skills", components and types of research skills; we will theoretically substantiate the pedagogical conditions that contribute to an increase in the effectiveness of the formation of research skills of future engineers in the process of experimental work in the classroom in the discipline "Chemistry". In accordance with this goal, the hypothesis was based on the assumption that the formation of research skills of future engineers in the process of experimental work in the classroom in the discipline "Chemistry"will be effective if the following pedagogical conditions are met: conducting research activities, taking into account the degree of preparedness of students (the ability of students to see problems, ask questions, put forward hypotheses, give definitions to concepts; the formation of students' skills to classify, compare, observe, conduct experiments); the subsequent presentation of the results of the students 'research activities (the formation of students' skills to draw conclusions and conclusions, establish cause-and-effect relationships, structure material, work with scientific literature, prove and defend their ideas); introduction into the educational process in the classroom in chemistry of a specially organized element (chemical experiment).
