Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging can provide valuable information of unparalleled quality that cannot be furnished by any other single imaging method. With improvements in cost-effectiveness and the development of more advanced techniques, CMR imaging will likely become a routine procedure for the evaluation of multiple areas of heart disease.
