Abstract

Velocity dispersion and attenuation in residual saturated porous media strongly depend on the properties of the discontinuous fluid phase. We present a multiscale model based on an oscillator rheology for the fluid blobs/clusters, taking into account their distinct dynamic properties on the pore scale.
