Abstract

Metallic nanoporous materials (MNMs) with well-ordered gyroid nanostructures are fabricated using a nanoporous polymer with gyroid nanochannels as a template. Nanoporous gyroid Ni is successfully fabricated to give well-ordered MNMs with high porosity and surface area. This new approach for hybridization provides a precisely controlled method to fabricate nanohybrids and MNMs for applications. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
