Abstract

The objective of this research was to Identify the relationship between sustainable urban development in solid waste management in the La Planicie sector, Morales district, Tarapoto, 2021. Focusing on applied research and non-experimental design; whose study sample was made up of 81 citizens. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. Taking as results that urban environmental management in the Plain sector is deficient or almost null, there is no interest on the part of the Municipality as well as the population in carrying out an adequate urban management of the sector. It also resulted in the lack of interest in carrying out good urban environmental management affecting the proper management of solid waste. Concluding that it is important to properly and orderly manage urban environmental management that directly affects waste management since it is within the work plan of the first variable, in order to have a correct development in the city.
