Fungi on submerged wood in a small stream on Mt Lewis, north Queensland, Australia

Abstract

Forty-two fungi were identified (20 ascomycetes, 22 deuteromoycetes). The frequency of occurrence of these fungi is discussed. A new species, Didymostilbe australiensis, and some other notable species, are described and illustrated.
