X-ray diagnostics as one of important sources of information in pre-hospital section of service for disaster medicine of defence ministry of Russia

Abstract

The purpose of the study – to substantiate the expediency of placement of the results of the x-ray examination in the medical data (information flow) of unit-level Service for disaster medicine of the Ministry of Defence, increasing quality of med-ical-diagnostic support at the stages of medical evacuation and reducing the degree of information uncertainty. Materials and methods of research. The research materials were data on the results of using x-ray diagnostics in mobile medical units of the medical service of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation: reports on research on medical support for combat operations (the 40th Army in Afghanistan in1979–1989; the United group of troops in the North Caucasus in1994–1996 and 1999–2002); reports on research on testing of mobile medical equipment at the exercises "Rubezh", "Ochag", etc. Main research methods: historical, analytical, information modeling and field observation methods. Research results and their analysis. The results of the study showed the relevance of modern approaches to improving electronic medical document management, which allows using x-ray diagnostics data both in the provision of medical care in the pre-hos-pital period and at subsequent stages of medical evacuation. The expediency of testing the information card of x-ray diagnostics developed by military specialists in the practice of the Service for disaster medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia is noted.
