Abstract

Reported is synthesis of cyanines 3 (λmax = 1033 nm in MeOH) and 4 (λmax = 1060 nm in MeOH) substituted with an isothiocyanato function, and a succinimidoxycarbonyl-functionalized cyanine 10 (λmax = 837 nm in MeOH) for labeling of biomolecules at amino groups.
