Abstract
This research aimed to know the use of green open space as a learning resource towards motivation and critical thinking skills on biodiversity subconcept at 10th grade of science class senior highschool SMA Negeri 7 Kota Tangerang Selatan. This research used descriptive method. The sample of this research was 45 students of 10th grade of science class 4 senior highschool. The sampling techniques used in this research was purposive sampling. The instrument used in this research were assessment sheet and survey respon sheet for motivation measurement, then essay posttest for critical thinking. Based on the result showed students motivations by the use of green open space as learning resource was conducted 76,79 in categorized good, then for student’s critical thinking was conducted 68,6 in categorized moderate.
