Abstract

To cap it all off: Colloidally stable hydrophilic 1D CdTe nanostructures (see picture) have been easily prepared under aqueous conditions in the presence of capping thiol ligands. The present methodology shows a strong dependence on the concentration of the precursors and the molecular structure of the ligand. (Chemical Equation Presented) © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
