Abstract
The social-emotional aspect of a child can be said to be developing optimally if the child can understand the feelings they have or those of other individuals, build friendships and have the awareness to always share. The purpose of this research was to find out the influence that social learning media board games have on the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Pertiwi Sowan Kidul. The research used was quantitative with a pre-experimental research design. The sample that the researchers used included 23 individuals aged between 5 and 6 years who were students from the TK Pertiwi Sowan Kidul. The research results show that the t-value is 10.396 and the  t-table  value is 1.717. Because the t-value > t-table or 10.396 > 1.717, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of social board game learning media on the social-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Pertiwi Sowan Kidul. This proves that the board game method can develop social skills for knowledge acquisition, provide important experiences for children in social-emotional, cognitive, and language skills
