Abstract

The title of this study is "The Effectiveness of Iqro Methods" Modification With Habaiyyah Technique In Improving Ability Knowing Hijaiyyah Letters of Early Childhood In KB PAUD Melati Banda Aceh. Iqro 'method of modification is one of the fastest ways in learning to know the letters hijaiyyah well. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Iqro 'modification method in the Playing Group PAUD Melati Banda Aceh in recognizing the hijaiyyah letters. This research is a quantitative pre-experimental one group pretest-posttes design study. Subjects in this study were all children of PAUD Melati Banda Aceh Playing Group. The instrument of this research is pre test and posttest test. The technique used in data analysis is the processing of preliminary and final test data (pre-test posttest), normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that there is an effective effect of Iqro 'modification method with the techniques of habituation of learning outcomes to know the letters hijaiyyah KB PAUD Melati Banda Aceh. This is indicated by the average post test value of 80.625. Can be seen from the results of data analysis that is using t test, and done by testing the hypothesis at a significant level α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = 5, obtained t count = 19.39 and t table = 1.71, so tcount > t table is 19.39> 1.71, thus H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. This shows that the ability to recognize the hijaiyyah letters with iqro 'modification method is more effective than before using iqro' modification method.
