Abstract

Humans basically have a sense of "ownership". Fences are part of residential buildings that cannot be separated. Initially, a fence is a "signage" of a person's ownership territorial boundaries or a power limit on property. The fence becomes an element of the part of the house that is important for its existence. This paper will discuss the transition of changing the function of fence designs in a residence. How the fence becomes an element design that is not only a territorial barrier but changes the function of describing the identity and being a pride of the owner of the house.
