Abstract

The results of surveys conducted of occupants of two buildings after several wind storms are given in detail. The authors propose a methodology and criterion format for rationally analyzing the wind-motion-discomfort problem for tall buildings. Tentative motion criterion values, based primarily on the two occupant surveys presented, are proposed.
