Abstract

The article presents miscellaneous topics. Topics include a study on body mass index by researchers Partha Deb and Carmen Vargas; the U.S. the Food and Drug Administration's report on 100 supplements of which 34 weight loss products were adulterated with drug sibutramine; and a study showing that 2000 additional water systems across the U.S. have excessive levels of lead contamination.
