11-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3,3-dimethyl-2,3,4,5,10,11-hexahydro-1H-dibenzo[b,e] [1,4]diazepin-1-one monohydrate

Abstract

In the title compound, C22H24N2O 2·H2O, the co-crystallized water molecule inter-acts with the N and O atoms of the molecule through Ow - H⋯N, Ow - H⋯O(methyl) and N - H⋯Ow hydrogen-bonding inter-actions. These hydrogen bonds, along with the inter-molecular N - H⋯O=C hydrogen-bonding inter-actions, connect the molecules into a three-dimensional network. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 65.46 (10)°. © Fadare et al. 2012.
